Scott and I met at an after party in the back of a Mexican restaurant called La Casita. We've been inseparable every since. It's hard for us to spend more than one day apart still.

Almost a year later, I had the greatest birthday surprise ever when he proposed to me. I wasn't expecting it because he kept on telling me a few months prior he didn't plan to get married for at least a few more years.

Our engagement was a quick 9 months before our big day arrived. I was extremely stressed out on the wedding day like any bride. The weather forecast was for thunderstorms and our wedding reception was planned outdoors at a vineyard. We we're very fortunate, because it did not rain all day long. I think God was on our side, because our dance ended and shortly after there was a torrential down pour.
