I knew that I was going to marry Jeremy when I saw him on the high school's local television channel. I just needed to devise a way to meet him. Fortunately, I was doing a field study at that school, so it wasn't hard to arrange. I asked the teacher that I was working with if he knew Jeremy. Mr. Johnson introduced us and tried to come up with some projects that I could do that would require Jeremy's help.

It wasn't long before I saw him face to face. His puppy dog eyes made me melt. I remember that he was so nice and polite. I fell in love right away.

When he invited me to the Milwaukee Sports Show, I thought that I could impress him with my hunting knowledge. My brother and dad are big-time hunters, so I shared everything that I had learned from them. Later that night, Jeremy confessed that he had never hunted before in his life. We laughed about it then and still laugh to this day.

About six months later, I knew that my initial reaction was right - Jeremy was the man of my dreams. Easter time came and he surprised me with an egg hunt. Each egg contained a clue to the next egg. The last clue sent me to a trunk that he had made for me. I unlocked it and found my Easter basket with a note that said: I love you. I give him a hug and a kiss. He stopped me and said, "Wait, I have one more gift for you." Then he got down on his knee, told me how much he loved me, and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said, "Yes!"

We are both very artistic, so we enjoyed planning the wedding together. But I surprised him at the reception with a Neil Diamond impersonator; we are both huge fans. Jeremy had no idea and the look on his face was priceless!

When the special day came, I floated down the aisle. My Dad's speech was probably one of the most memorable moments; there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

I'm so glad that I was watching local television on the day that Jeremy was on!
