Celebrate the season by creating a photo book filled with pictures of your neighborhood's festive holiday light displays. Give a copy to each neighbor as a special Christmas gift.

Getting Started

1. Start by taking a walk around your neighborhood at night and capturing pictures of each light display. You might find it helpful to bring along a tripod to take longer exposures of the holiday lights in the dark.
2. Add these pictures to a new folder so that they will be easy to add to your Picaboo book.

Creating Your Festive Neighborhood Book

1. Create a new book in Picaboo and select the Happy Holidays Theme.
2. Add the photos from your neighborhood walk to your book.
3. For each house, include the neighbors name and what you liked about their display this year.
4. Using a black background can help make the colors of the lights stand out on the page. Finally, add fun corners to finish the effect.

Give a copy of your Festive Neighborhood book to each family that was featured. Not only will your neighbors be thrilled to see that you enjoyed their light display, they will remember you and your contribution to their holiday season as they look through their book year after year.
