As my three childless daughters grew older and older, I became resigned to never being a grandmother....while it seemed all my friends were bragging about their wonderful grandchildren.

Then one day, my daughter and her husband came to my house and said, we want to show you pictures of a project we've been working on, and they brought was a sonogram of their baby. I was going to be a grandmother!

For the Christmas when Norah was 14 months old, I put together a book of the photos I had taken over that first year and added quotations which seemed to fix the photos. I made a large copy for the proud parents and two medium sized versions for me and the other grand parents.
