Two of my best friends - one from my home town in Victoria, Canada, the other from California, had never met. A year ago, while tossing around vacation ideas with both of them, we decided to all meet up in Europe for a cycling trip.

With very rough plans as to where to go, we decided to start in Amsterdam. From there, we found ourselves at the mercy of the weather! With most of Europe experiencing thunderstorms, we used trains to get ourselves to wherever the sun was. This led to bike tours of northern Holland, south and central France, Luxembourg and Germany. Now we're planning a trip to New Zealand!
