Create a stunning double-page spread.
|
|
 |
|
There are two different ways to create an amazing double-page spread effect in Picaboo. The first option is to select two
side-by-side full page layouts. Choose the picture you would like to use and drag and drop it onto both full page layouts.
Next, using the Picture Tools zoom into both pictures and move them around until the left half of the picture appears on the
left page and the right half appears on the right page. This simple effect can be easily added to your books but can result
in a lower resolution image due to the zooming.
To avoid lowering the resolution of your picture by zooming in, you can also use your favorite photo editing program to quickly
cut your picture in half. First, open the picture you have selected in your photo editing program. Next, cut the picture in
half using the crop tool and save each half as a new high resolution .jpg image. Add each of these half-pictures to your Picaboo
book and drag them onto the full page layouts you have selected. Finally, use the Picture Tools to move your images up and
down until you have aligned them perfectly. Now you have just created your first double-page spread!

Create a Custom Background.
Take pictures of interesting textures, patterns, or landscapes that would work well as backgrounds for your wedding album.
For example, use flowers from your bouquet, the reception hall, and the material of your dress.
Capture a photo of textures and patterns that catch your eye and later, in Picaboo's Edit mode, simply drag and drop these
photos onto the background of the page.

Add a Keepsake.
Scan memorable papers, such as invitations, cards, and your wedding license, from your wedding to create fun backgrounds or
images for your wedding album.
Arrange one item or many on your scanner. Scan them, and save them as a high resolution (300 DPI) .jpg files. These images
can then be added to a single photo well in Picaboo or used as a background or a full page image.

|

|
Create a personalized frame.
Select Picaboo's collage layout for your page. Look for a tiny bit of space between the many photo wells and drag and drop
your center image there. Next, add other photos to the image wells around the outside of the page. To view what the page will
look like when printed, simply click on the "View" button at the top of the page. Just be sure to save your work first.
To finish the effect, use the Picture Tools to zoom into the picture and center it however you'd like.

|

|
Use a 3-D Effect.
To easily add depth to a full page image, first select a page layout with one photo well. Next, drag and drop the image you
have selected onto both the background of the page as well as the photo well.
To finish the effect, use the Picture Tools to zoom into the picture and center it however you'd like.

|
End your Album with a Collage.
The perfect way to include all the extra photos that you couldn't fit into the rest of your wedding album is to add a collage
page at the end.
Choose to fill all the photo wells or just a few and be sure to select the perfect background for the finishing touch.
