Snow days provide an unexpected opportunity for time together as a family. Celebrate this unexpected vacation by creating a "Snow Day Adventure" book.

When you first learn that school or work has been cancelled, make a list of fun activities you and your children can enjoy together throughout the day. As you spend the day together, be sure to take lots of photos that you can later use to create your book.

At the end of your snow day, transfer the photos you have taken to your computer and add them to a new Picaboo book. Work together with your children to arrange your photos into your "Snow Day Adventure" book. Ask each child what their favorite part of the day was and add a special note about that activity in their words.
