Warmer weather and longer days mean a greater variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. These fresh ingredients are sure to
inspire the culinary minded members of your family. Share your favorite spring recipes with your loved ones by creating your
very own seasonal cookbook.
Begin by making a list of your favorite spring ingredients and recipes that feature them. Some popular spring veggies
include asparagus, sugar snap peas, rhubarb, artichokes, broccoli, and spinach. Once you have identified your favorite recipes,
write them out in a Word document so that you will be able to check them for spelling and grammar before pasting them into
your cookbook.
After you have written out your list of recipes, it's time to get the photos that will illustrate your cookbook. You may wish
to include photos of your friends and family who enjoy each of the recipes, or you may choose to use pictures of the ingredients
themselves. Next time you make each dish, have your camera handy and snap a few photos of the ingredients, preparations, and
the finished dish as you are preparing your meal.
Once you have gathered your photos and recipes, create a new book in Picaboo and select the Cookbook theme. Arrange your photos
and recipes throughout your book. You may also want to add a special note about each recipe. When you are finished, you can add custom backgrounds and corners for the final effect.
When you are finished, send a free digital copy of your "Garden Fresh Cookbook" to friends and family using Picaboo's Share function
and order a professionally bound copy to keep with you in the kitchen.
