As you are creating a digital version of your hand-scrapped albums, it is easy to add on to your pages using Picaboo's page layouts and journaling options. This is the perfect way to fit in a few extra photos or lines of journaling that there wasn't space for in your hand-scrapped album. You can also combine pages from several different scrapbooks to put together an entirely new digital scrapbook.

To get started on your mix and match book, scan the pages from your albums that you would like to use and save them as high resolution .JPG images. Visit our other scrapbooking idea center pages for more information on scanning and saving 8.5x11" or square pages.

Add the pages from your hand-scrapped album to a new book in Picaboo using the tips outlined on the previous pages. For any page that you would like to extend, insert a new page next to the page containing the image of your hand-scrapped page. Select a Picaboo page layout that will allow you to include your extra pictures and journaling.

Select the perfect background from Picaboo's free backgrounds site to complement your hand-scrapped page and add matching corners to your new pictures for a polished look.

 

Extend your story with journaling   To add journaling to the digital version of your square hand-scrapped album, look for the Picaboo page layout that has a large square photo well on the left side of the page and a text box on the right side. Drag and drop the image of your hand-scrapped page into the photo well on the left side of the page and add journaling to the text box. Choose a matching background as well as a custom font and font color to perfect your page.
