Organize the love letters, diplomas, postcards, and other correspondence of your family into a photo book that future generations will be able to read through in years to come. Not only will you be able to easily locate and read through each item, you will also be able to quickly create multiple copies for each member of your family.

Getting Started

  1. Gather the correspondence that you would like to add to your book and create a digital copy by scanning each item and saving it as a high resolution (300 dpi) .jpg image. If you don't have access to a scanner, you can take the items to your local photo finishing center and ask them to create a digital copy for you.
  2. Next organize the digital images of each item according to date or recipient. Separate them into groups and add each group of images to a different folder so that they will be easy to add to your Picaboo book.

Creating Your Documents & Letters Book

  1. Create a new book in Picaboo and add your digital images.
  2. Use page layouts that fill most of the page to ensure that you will be able to read the text when it is printed.
  3. Select a subtle background that will draw attention to the words in each document and add classic corners to complete the effect.
  4. When you are finished, share a digital copy with everyone in your family and order a hard bound version to keep handy anytime you want to re-read your special family messages.

Your Documents & Letters Book will become a treasured family document itself as members of your family will use it as a resource anytime they are curious about their past.
