This year, convert the pictures of your search for the perfect Christmas tree into a storybook you can read again and again.

Getting Started

1. When you head out to find your Christmas tree, take along the camera and snap pictures of each step in the process: searching for the right tree, cutting it down, tying it to the car, setting it up, and decorating it.
2. Add your Christmas tree photos to a new folder so that they will be easy to add to your book.
3. Ask your children to write out the story of your family's Christmas tree adventure and to draw pictures of their favorite part of the day.

Creating Your "Christmas Tree Story" book

1. Create a new book in Picaboo and select the Storybook Theme.
2. Add the photos from your Christmas tree adventure to your book.
3. Use your children's story to narrate your pictures and include scanned copies of their illustrations. Be sure to save any scanned images as 300 dpi, high resolution .jpg images.
4. Finish your book with festive backgrounds and corners.

Your children will love recounting the story of their Christmas tree adventure in their own words long after the holidays are past. Your "Christmas Tree Story" book will become a wonderful family keepsake to read again each year.
