Throw a Christmas Cookie Exchange and Gift Wrapping Party to share your favorite Christmas cookie recipe and visit with your friends while getting your holiday gift wrapping done.

Ask each friend to bring two dozen of their favorite Christmas cookie, the recipe for the cookie, and any gifts and wrapping supplies they will need. At the party, arrange the cookies on your dining room table and provide your guests with an inexpensive plastic tray. Allow each guest to add a few of each type of cookie to their tray to take home and share with their families. Then, head into the living room or family room or family room to chat while wrapping gifts.

Getting Started

1. At the party, take pictures of each friend who attended as well as the type of cookie that they brought. Also, collect a copy of the recipe for each cookie.

Creating Your Christmas Cookie Exchange Cookbook

1. Create a new book in Picaboo and select the Cookbook Theme.


2. Add the pictures of each of your friends as well as a picture of the cookies that they brought.
3. Use the Recipe Layout to add the ingredients, recipes, and a special note from each contributor.
4. Intersperse the pages of recipes with pages filled with pictures taken during your party.
5. Complete your book with holiday backgrounds and corners.
6. When you are finished, share a digital copy of your book with all your friends who attended the party. Order a hard bound copy to use next year when you are searching for the perfect Christmas cookie recipe.
