Next >>

Use Picaboo to transform your favorite carols into a Caroling Songbook you can take with you on every caroling adventure.

Getting Started

  1. Begin by making a list of your favorite Christmas carols that you would like to include in your songbook.
  2. Next, locate a copy of the music that includes all the verses. You can either choose to include a page of the sheet music for any friends that may want to sight read the harmony, or include only the text for the verses if everyone will be singing the melody.
  3. If you are including the sheet music, scan a copy of the music to each song and save it as a high resolution 300 dpi image. If you are only including the lyrics, locate them on a website and paste them into a word document.
  4. Finally, gather pictures of friends and family to add a more personal touch throughout your caroling songbook.

Creating Your Caroling Songbook

  1. Create a new book in Picaboo and select the Happy Holidays Theme.
  2. If you are including the sheet music for each song, use a large photo well to display the image of the music. If not, select a page layout with plenty of room for text and copy and paste the text for each song into your book.
  3. Add the pictures of your friends and family throughout your book and finish it with holiday backgrounds and corners.

When you head out to share the spirit of the season, take along your personal Caroling Songbook. This is the perfect gift for friends and family who you'll be caroling with and it will help ensure that each harmony turns out perfectly.
