I love getting to know each of you through your weekly photos. This week’s theme was one of my favorites! Lifestyle photography is near and dear to my heart. It’s one of the reasons I became a photographer. By sharing your lifestyle photographs this past week, I really got a peek inside of your lives. And, wow, you all have beautiful families, live in such gorgeous places and have such interesting lives. Thank you for sharing that with us!

Without further ado, here’s this week’s 15 Lifestyle Photographs!

15 lifestyle photographs

1. Terri Mappin – What a great moment to capture! I see photographs like this in my future with my two boys. This photograph follows the rule of thirds nicely. I would have backed up just a tad so that I didn’t chop off the top of the tent. Also, by backing up, it would put some distance between you and your sons giving it  a sense of you peeking in on them.lifestyle photography tips

2. Frank Gosselin – I would blow this baby up and hang it on my wall! Too cute! I love the look the little one is giving older brother. If you had the space, I would back up a little to get more of the reflection on the table.lifestyle photography tips

3. Randi Arnar – I am impressed that your son let you take his picture! You used the light coming from the bed lamp nicely to highlight your son.

7. Sherri Schierberl – When I saw this photo, I thought “She’s on a mission.” Lifestyle photography is about telling a story and this one is definitely doing that. What drew my eye in this photo was her reflection in the water.

8. Allison Allan-Harper – This is such a fun photo! I like that you can only see his entire face in the reflection of the slide. Even though the top of his head is cut off a little, I think it works in this photo since you were trying to capture the reflection.

9. Susan Goudge – What a great photo bomb! This little guy was going to make sure he was in the shot, even if it meant that he wasn’t the focus. The great thing about him not being the focal point in this picture is that he is the focal point of the picture!

14. Linda Boulger – I love the vantage point on this one and how you were to capture just how small we are in comparison to the world around us. I also like the small hint of sunlight coming from the right side of the photo.

15. Sharon Jurgens – I have so many photos of my oldest in the almost same exact position. Even though you didn’t pose her, the S shape of her body gives the photo some movement, even though she is just lounging on the chair.
